The XL19i has dual Climatuff® compressors that allow for two-stage cooling. And because it operates at a low speed (first stage) most of the time you get quiet, efficient and extremely comfortable cooling for your home.
Trane has the industry leading 10-year limited warranty on both compressors, the unique Spine Fin™ outdoor coil and all functional parts. We'll even cover the furnace, air handler and thermostat for 10 years if they are installed at the same time.
When matched with a variable speed indoor unit from Trane, the XL19i has another special feature. It's a method of enhancing airflow that we call Comfort-R™ and it gives you greater humidity control in cooling. This is accomplished by running the fan at a slower speed during start-up. Comfort-R™ also provides warmer air during heating start-up in the XL19i Weathertron® Heat Pump. These managed cycles reduce temperature variances for the optimum in home comfort.
