When winter temperatures drop in West Mifflin, PA, a working heating system isn’t just a comfort; it’s a necessity. So when we learned that a local Army veteran was facing the cold without heat in his home, our team at J&A Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, & Electrical knew we had to step in and help.

This wasn’t just another service call for us. This was an opportunity to give back to someone who had given so much for our country and our community.

A Veteran in Need

The veteran, who had served our nation with honor, found himself in an impossible situation. His heating system had failed just as winter was settling into West Mifflin, and the financial burden of a replacement was simply too much to bear. For someone who had dedicated years of service to protecting others, facing a cold home during the harshest months of the year was unacceptable to us.

When word reached our team, there was no hesitation. We immediately mobilized to assess the situation and determine how we could restore warmth and comfort to his home.
