J&A is Proud to Support our Community

J&A in Our Community

At J&A Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical, Pittsburgh isn’t just where we do business; it’s home. Being part of this community means more than fixing furnaces and wiring homes; it means showing up for the teams, causes, and neighbors that make this region special. From cheering in the stands to giving back on the ground, here’s a closer look at each one.

Hail to Pittsburgh Partnership

J&A is a proud “Hail to Pittsburgh” partner of Pitt Athletics: a program created to spotlight and celebrate businesses rooted right here in the Pittsburgh Metro Area. You’ll find our team tabling at games throughout the year, meeting fans, handing out giveaways, and talking Pittsburgh home comfort face-to-face.

• Cheering on Pitt Football at Acrisure Stadium
• Courtside support for Pitt Basketball at the Petersen Events Center
• Supporting Pitt Wrestling & Volleyball

It’s a partnership we take real pride in: a chance to stand behind student-athletes, meet our neighbors, and answer real questions about heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical while we’re at it.

Otter Exhibit Sponsor:  Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium

J&A is the proud sponsor of the Otter Exhibit at the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium, and it’s a fitting match, since otters are our mascots! Our sponsorship helps support the otters’ daily care and habitat, and you’ll find us there every fall at Zoo Boo and tabling each May 25th to celebrate World Otter Day. It’s one of our favorite community partnerships, and one we celebrate all year long.

Veterans Program with the Special Forces Foundation

Giving back to veterans is one of the causes closest to our heart. J&A partners with the Special Forces Foundation to directly support Green Beret families in our community.

• Providing and installing a gas furnace in the home of a Green Beret member each year
• Proud sponsor of the Special Forces Foundation’s annual golf outing, supporting programs that serve Green Beret veterans and their families

Every year, we donate and install a furnace, so a Green Beret family has a warm home; it’s our way of giving back.

Stuff a Bus for Toys for Tots

Every holiday season, J&A joins neighbors across Pittsburgh in Stuff a Bus, helping fill a bus with new, unwrapped toys and donations, and serving as a food sponsor to help feed the volunteers who make it happen. Every toy collected benefits Toys for Tots, delivering gifts to kids across our community.

Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Every March, the J&A team hits the streets of Downtown Pittsburgh for the Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade: one of the largest in the country. It’s a fun, high-energy way to celebrate the city alongside thousands of our neighbors.
